Like a bomb dropping out of the sky, imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw it sitting there.
That official-looking Linden Labs® envelope.
Staring me down.
I just had to open the envelope and read the letter inside. What could it be?
Monthly stipend check bounce again?
Tier fees late?
Broadly offensive abuse report against me?
I read it in disbelief. Was it true? Could it be??
An election. After all this time?!
News too good to be true... or did it spell pending doom for the SL world as we know it?
I just had to rush over and show Vint.
What would her reaction be? Would it be welcome news? Would she be in shock? Or would she already know all about it?
Apparently, word gets around quickly in SL.
To say the room was all abuzz would be an understatement. So many discussions going on, I couldn't keep track of what was being said! Was someone going to be running for office? Who were they talking about voting for?
Meanwhile, I'll be checking out all the blogs to find out more!

Aww, thanks, guys! Hopefully you were able to watch the whole clip before tuning out due to boredom, hehe.
And can I just take a moment to apologize to everyone on my friends list who saw me online last night during the filming of this clip as I totally ignored them whilst trying to edit this thing for hours, hehe. Seriously, I had SL minimized and didn't realize you were talking to me. I'll be more attentive next time. ;-)
