State Thy Groups
Vint is at it again - posting the latest round in the Not-a-meme® series, and it's up to #17 already. Plenty of bloggers are playing along at home, and I can't resist either.
Here be my current groups.

Yes, they tend to change frequently, as I get bored if I see no activity from a group I've joined. Also, I accept group invites from clubs so as not to be rude, but then go home and leave the group at the end of the evening, never having needed a VIP access at any time so far.

In alphabetical order:
- -=LAG=- :: Lag Annihilation Group. A recently formed group for like-minded residents tired of unnecessary sources of lag. No action so far...
- A little piece of paradise :: Groan. Such an unfortunate name for such a cool group of people. This is my neighbour's group. He set it up so he could rent some land to some friends. I joined so I could have unrestricted access to his property for riding my H&R Block® Tango® scooter wildly out of control and not run into those red No Entry barriers. Have not needed this group so far, however...
- Bloggers with Blades :: Loving this group! Also a recently formed group, seeing some good action thus far. In fact, last night, all but one member was online at the same time! I really should've paid more attention and called an impromptu meeting!!
- Carson's Navy :: Sponsor of several well-paying trivia games. I don't like the group name, and I don't like the title it comes with, but I do like to receive group notice's of good trivia games. Unfortunately, usually get at least one event notice per day and it's never interesting. Considering leaving the group and just using the search events listings...
- CLAM :: Campers Liberation Army Movement - The more militant wing of LAG. Think ELF to Greenpeace or the IRA to Sinn Fein. I'd tell you more, but then, well, you know. And hey, someone needs to look out for the welfare of these mutant zombie newbies, after all! Free, free, set them free...
- Diversionarians :: A group with potential, I believe. Sort of like buying a stock as an IPO - I just wanted to be the first to join so when this place hits the big time, I'll be kickin' it old school. Yes, I missed the grand opening, I suck.
- Freemason :: Joined this early on in SL - thinking in case any RL stuff crosses over to SL, then I should be prepared. Of course, can't really hold Lodge in SL, but it's always cool to talk to my brethren across the world. Only, that doesn't really happen and you can't really even verify if they are actual Masons. Still, I won't remove this group until I really, truly need space - I'm loyal like that.
- Music Trivia Fanatics :: This would be cool if it was a group for something completely opposite than the title, but it's not. It's a group for.. wait for it... Music Trivia Fanatics. Only sends out group notices for trivia games hosted by the creator of the group, however, so not as useful as I had originally hoped.
- Reality TV Babes and Studs :: Second RL group I added in case it came in handy in SL. Guess what? Never a single word from this group. I leave it so people who check profiles will see some of my interests. However, I do understand why no one in this group is active - my reality tv viewing since joining SL has dropped over 90%. And that is a hobby I used to participate in almost 95% of my free time before SL. Guess it's the same for other residents, as well.
- Second Life Bloggers :: Chances are, if you're reading this, you're one of us. You will be assimilated.
- The Paine Principle Group, LLC :: I lurve this group! Okay, it's mine. In case I ever want to totally lock down my property and allow only special access. Oh, and so I can have cool titles above my name. Consider it SL's A-List. I do.
- Trivia Matters :: No group notices, ever, which I am not complaining about. Gives me a cool "Trivia Lover" title or something like that. Can always delete if something better comes along.
Well, that's it. Boring, yet simple. My kind of lifestyle, apparently. Although if people check profiles to get some sort of idea of my personality, I do wonder what they are thinking of me. Not that I care, really. That much.
