It's a Sunday evening, time for me to get a chance to log into SL and meet up with Ms Zoe Connelly this evening.
First, she shows me her two new homes, but I won't post pictures here, because that would probably be breaking all sorts of confidentiality agreements she made me sign before entering, even though I am sure all of the secret passage ways are well hidden from the human eye anyway. Pretty sure even going to the restroom there would've involved a non-disclosure statement.
While I was having the tour, Team Vint & Veyron called Zoe to see if we wanted to hang out for a bit. Personally, I think they just wanted to chaperone me and Zoe, which was fine with us - so we head off to some Dutch castle, I think it was.
First up, a hedge maze! Always wanted to do one of these, both in RL and SL. Let me just say, if you have mouselook on and you're racing around all these corners, you will get dizzy in a hurry. I wanted to hurl. But I also wanted to be the first to finish, and seeing as how I entered the maze second, what were my chances? Well, I employed the 'always turn right' method and after only one mistake, I passed Veyron for first, so she came in second, Vint was third and Zoe crashed. But when she relogged, she completed the course in record time. But I still say I won.

Off to explore the castle! Uh oh, looks like Vint has her eye on the crown.

Hey, the others might be willing to submit to her reign on the throne, but I was having nothing to do with it!

Even wannabe royalty members cannot resist the urge to jump on a new and unfamiliar bed. Fortunately, our new highness did not hit her head on the ceiling with her impressive leaping ability, and yes, she landed on all two feet.

Hey, look! A royal hot tub! Which I immediately tripped while peering over the edge and fell into. I am drowning here, people and all I have is an audience!

Well, after much convincing and/or pleading, I manage to get Veyron to look for the drain plug to release and alleviate my detrimental situation. She couldn't reach it without getting her new swimsuit wet. So, obviously, no help there.

Zoe offers to try having a go at it, but after 15 minutes of no movement and sounds of snoring, my guess is she fell asleep at the task at hand. I had no idea I could hold my breath for so long.

Perhaps Queen Vint will get off her butt and lend a hand in rescuing me? Sorry, not tonight, dear, I have a headache was the response her body language was telling me. And believe me, I hear that often enough to know it when I see it.

Eventually, Zoe and I break free from the group and decide to go on a three hour tour (a three hour tour) aboard the world's largest and most indestructible cruise ship. Nope, not the S.S. Minnow or the Titantic, but some other one I cannot remember the name of.

Yes, it was large, and yes, it had all the modern day conveniences, but now comes with twice the lag of your regular boats. We couldn't move! Or talk! Or do anything really...

So we decided Paris was the place we wanted to be.

And so ended our night, laying on a picnic blanket in a park discussing our week's adventures, while crazy Parisian drivers crashed into lamp posts and trash cans all around us - ah, just like back home.

Ow! Great story. You make it sound even more fun then it already was!
What - isn't everyone's version of events from that evening the same? *g*
It was great fun doing a group activity - looking forward to many more! :-)
Yeah. I can't remember anybody doing any effort at all to safe you from drowning. :p
Wrath, you forgot about the sauna....
Oh yes, Veyron, about that... Fortunately for me my selective memory kicked in and did not allow me to post about how you tricked me into going into the sauna room alone, and then standing up from the pose ball in there, which thereby ejected me off the top floor of the castle - that would be embarrassing should anyone ever find out! :-P
Oh wait... shoot. Don't read this comment, people!!
*looks at the end of the post where zoe and wrath are in paris and signs:"love is in the air"* :P
As I recall, I did tell you it would be exciting.... I know you were puzzled as to how a sauna could be exciting.
